Our 3D Optical Laser Foot Scanner and computer diagnostic system is just one innovative method we use against foot pain in our Axminster based foot clinic.  

Our 3D Optical Laser Foot Scanner accurately measures thousands of points on the foot's many contours to create an accurate end product and an orthotic shell that is guaranteed for life. The realtime interactive image displaying dimensions and rotating 3D views is then transmitted to computers in the USA for accurate, reliable and repeatable orthotics.


When our patients book with us they have the knowledge that our consultant chiropodist/podiatrist has over 20 years experience treating feet and foot pain with both the NHS and private practice. Jane is State Registered as well as registered with the Health Professions Council. At Healthy Feet we offer local specialized treatment for patients of all ages from infants upwards!

Our prescription orthotics are made to the highest standards available using modern technology, are completely accurate and provide the very best corrective treatment available. Our 3D Optical Laser Foot Scanner replaces the need for traditional plaster casting and drawing around the foot, methods still in use today which are messy, inaccurate, costly and utilizing materials of limited life, requiring frequent replacement.

We are the only local clinic to specialize in this outside the USA and in the South West of England which means patients no longer need to travel outside the county for this specialized treatment.

Healthy Feet Chiropody and Podiatry are Supported by Laboratories in the USA and the UK Our Manufacturing is carried out by a specialist laboratory in the USA, with finishing carried out by their partner laboratory in the UK. Only the most advanced materials are used in our shell manufacture and these are guaranteed for life against loss of shape or breakage.

Assessment:

Appointments for our prescription orthotics generally last for one hour in our newly equipped state of the art clinic, during this time we carry out a full biomechanical assessment using a skeletal balance system to ensure that our orthotics are right for you and to get to the root of the problem. We also take a 3D Optical Laser Scan of your foot in a neutral position. This information is then sent to the labs in the USA the same day for manufacture. We invite you back once we receive your completed orthotics for your free fitting.
